HAMILTON, IL : Nauvoo man facing DUI charge after crash on Sunday, 16th September 2018

A Nauvoo man was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol after reportedly crashing his car into a tree Sunday morning.

The Hancock County Sheriff's Department said Preston C. Grow, 19, was taken to the Hancock County Jail where he posted bond and released with a scheduled court appearance.

Deputies were called at 5:38 a.m. to a home on a report of a man acting suspiciously near the intersection of Ill. 96 and County Road 1630 North in rural Hamilton.
