Police in New Hampshire say a pickup truck driver led them on a highway chase and reached 100 miles an hour before he lost control and died in a fiery crash.
State police say 36-year-old Bryan Martinez of Hingham, Massachusetts, was ejected from the truck early Tuesday, near the junction of northbound Interstates 93 and 293 in Manchester. The vehicle caught fire, and two troopers dragged him away from it. They performed CPR on Martinez, but he died at the scene.
Earlier, police received reports of the truck swerving from side to side on Interstate 93 in Salem, New Hampshire. It struck two vehicles but didn't stop, traveling north. A trooper attempted to stop the truck, but it kept going.
