Crawfordsville, IN : 2 injured in crash on U.S. 231 north of Market Street on Wednesday, 26th December 2018

An escalation of an earlier near crash resulted in an one-car crash on U.S. 231 north of Market Street at 6:25 p.m. Wednesday in Crawfordsville, sending two people to the hospital, authorities said.

According to Crawfordsville Police Lt. Detective Bob Rivers, two vehicles were involved in a near crash on the east side of town earlier before the escalating in the crash just north of the bridge over Sugar Creek.

A white 2002 Ford Explorer driven by Stephanie McNorton, 21, Crawfordsville, was attempting to crowd a second vehicle when she lost control of the car, police said.
