York, PA : Two injured in Hellam Township crash on Sunday, February 19, 2017

A three-car crash in Hellam Twp. has left two people injured, York County 911 officials said.

The crash occurred on Route 462 near the intersection of Keeney Lane at 7:21 p.m., officials said. It was right in front of Jim Mack's Ice Cream shop.

Details on the injuries were not immediately available.

The three vehicles involved were a Nissan Altima, a Buick Encore and a Cadillac Escalade. The Escalade received minor damage and was able to be driven from the scene, but wreckers were needed to tow away the two other vehicles.

Route 462 between Ducktown Road and Burgs Lane was shut down for about an hour after the crash.

Hellam Township Police and the Wrightsville Fire Department responded to the crash. Further details on the incident were not immediately available.
