Las Vegas, NV : Man clinging to car dies in crash into wall on Wednesday night, Nov 11, 2015
A domestic dispute ended fatally Wednesday night when a man clung to a car that crashed through a block wall in the central valley, according to Metro Police.
The dispute started about 8:30 p.m. when a female was involved in a domestic disturbance with her ex-boyfriend in the parking lot of a store near Jones Boulevard and U.S. 95, according to police.
The woman called for help and two men showed up and assaulted the ex-boyfriend through the driver’s side door of his 2003 Lincoln Town Car as he attempted to leave, police said.
Police say that the men held onto the car as it drove off, with one falling off immediately and the other clinging to the door as the car crashed through a block wall in an alley off Bromely Avenue, police said.
The 21-year-old man clinging to the car was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Flying debris from the wall caused damage to four parked vehicles, and the Town Car hit two other parked cars, police said. Nobody else was injured.
The ex-boyfriend fled on foot and was chased by the second male, police said. Police were searching for both.
