A tractor-trailer driver was seriously injured in a rollover crash on Interstate 93 in Concord late Tuesday night, state police say.
The tractor-trailer, owned by Ross Express in Boscawen, was traveling from Connecticut to Boscawen on I-93 north just north of exit 15 around 11:20 p.m. when it went off the right side of the road and into the woods, striking multiple large trees, authorities said.
The cab was torn from the vehicle's frame and the driver, a 37-year-old Connecticut man, was pinned inside. He was semi-conscious when police arrived.
The box truck was broken into multiple pieces and both fuel tanks ruptured, authorities said.
The driver was taken to Concord Hospital with serious injuries. He was listed in stable condition.
