Jackson County, MS : Two people killed after a collision on Daisy Vestry Road on Sunday night, February 7, 2016

Two people were killed Sunday night after a collision on Daisy Vestry Road. Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell said it happened in the 8800 block just before 6 p.m.

Ezell said one of the cars lost control and veered into the path of the another vehicle. The driver and passenger in one of the cars died at the scene. We're told the occupants of the other vehicle were not hurt.

The names of the victims have not been released at this time. Sheriff Ezell reports the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
