DENVER, CO : 1 killed in crash that closed I-25 in Larimer County on Monday, 10th June 2024

One person died in a crash that closed Interstate 25 north of Fort Collins on Monday.

Colorado State Patrol told FOX31 that one person was dead from the crash and another person was transported in unknown condition to a hospital. Details of which side of the interstate the crash occurred on and how many vehicles were not shared.

The crash was reported at 2:10 p.m. between Highway 1 and Exit 281 on I-25, which is Owl Canyon Road. At 2:21 p.m., CDOT posted on X that I-25 north and southbound lanes were closed “due to safety concerns” between Highway 1 and Exit 288, Buckeye Road.

At 4:41 p.m., the Colorado Department of Transportation reported that the southbound lanes had reopened to traffic. The northbound lanes reopened around 7:20 p.m.
