Corona, CA : Four Corona High School students were injured in a violent rollover crash that killed the 20-year-old driver on Monday, May 5th 2014
Police believe speed was a factor in a single-car accident that killed one young woman and left four people injured in Corona.
Authorities responded to the crash in the 1600 block of Via Pacifica at 6:06 p.m. Monday and found a 2011 Ford Mustang on its roof.
The driver, identified as 20-year-old Crystal Urena of Santa Ana, was declared dead at the scene. Four other passengers, all juveniles, were injured, with one person in critical condition.
According to the preliminary investigation, the Mustang was headed northbound on Via Pacifica when for unknown reasons, the driver lost control. The vehicle crashed into trees and a cable utility box.
