PHOENIX, AZ : 2 dead, 4 injured after head-on crash in west Phoenix on Saturday, 21st September 2024

Two people are dead, and multiple others, including children, are seriously hurt after a crash in west Phoenix on Saturday.

Around 1:20 p.m., Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a head-on crash near 83rd Avenue and McDowell Road.

MCSO says a woman and a man were killed in the collision. Four other people were hospitalized. The sheriff’s office also confirmed that there were children involved in the accident, and some were taken to the hospital with “very serious injuries.”

Arizona’s Family talked with a group of people at the scene who said they were the family of the woman who died. They identified her as 34-year-old Sharon Gina Maire Bejarano. Bejarano’s aunt said she had her three young daughters in the white pickup truck.

The family said the girls had broken arms and legs and were in surgery. They said the girls are expected to make full recoveries.

Bejarano’s family is raising money to help cover funeral and hospital costs.
