Munster, IN :Several transported to area hospitals after accident on Saturday, July 4th 2015

Several people were transported to area hospitals Saturday afternoon after a single vehicle accident on the westbound Interstate 94 ramp onto Calumet Avenue.
The accident happened just before 2 p.m. and involved a passenger van with Indiana plates that rolled over, according to Indiana State Police. The area was reopened within an hour of the accident.According to the state police, seven to nine people were transported with non-life threatening injuries. It is unknown were they were transported.
