Orange County ,FL : 22 -years old Samuel Ephraim killedand his two passengers injured after lost control of his vehicle on Sunday ,May 31st 2015

An early morning crash on University Boulevard claimed the life of a driver and injured his two passengers.

The Florida Highway Patrol said Samuel Ephraim, 22, of Orlando, was driving west on University Boulevard around 2:05 a.m., when he lost control of the vehicle. The Nissan he was driving sheared off a pole and struck the wall of a subdivision near Orange Lake Drive.

Ephraim, and his passengers, Sudeep Sinha, and Cody Morris, both 18 and from Orlando, were taken to Florida Hospital East Orlando.

Ephraim was pronounced dead at the hospital. His passengers suffered minor injuries.

The FHP is investigating to try to determine why the crash occurred.
