Bell Township, PA : Crash involving motorcycle, car shuts down Rt. 819 and 380 intersectionAn intersection in Bell Township on Saturday, 11th August 2018

A crash involving a motorcycle and a car at the intersection of Routes 819 and 380 in Bell Township left one dead and another injured, said a Westmoreland County 911 dispatcher.

The Westmoreland County Coroner was called to the scene shortly after the crash, which happened just after 1 p.m. The crash closed down the intersection until around 3:45 p.m.

A county dispatcher said another person, the motorcycle passenger, was injured but could not speak to the extent of injuries.

The people in the car received no injuries, said the dispatcher.

Kiski Valley state police are investigating the crash.
