Pensacola, FL : Donna Sue Alexander, 52, killed after truck crashed into her East Hill home on Sunday evening, May 3, 2015

A Pensacola woman is dead after a truck crashed into her living room.

Pensacola police say 52-year-old Donna Sue Alexander was sitting in her house Sunday evening when a Toyota Tacoma driven by 30-year-old John Dye crashed into her house.

Alexander died at the scene. Dye was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries.

Police say the truck veered off the road and struck the house.

Officer Danny Lawrence told the Pensacola News Journal the cause of the crash is under investigation and charges are pending the outcome.
