Milwaukee, WI : Deputy injured in motorcycle crash Sunday on Interstate 43, August 17, 2014

A Milwaukee County sheriff's deputy was injured in a motorcycle crash Sunday on Interstate 43. Authorities said the deputy was part of an escort operation that was preparing to close down a section of I-43 at South 60th Street. Investigators said the 39-year-old deputy lost control of the motorcycle and crashed. He was taken to Froedtert Hospital for treatment. His injuries were not considered life-threatening.
