New Rochelle, NY : 2 Norwalk women arrested after DUI crash on I-95 on Tuesday, 28th April, 2020

A Norwalk woman was arrested last week by New York State Police and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after a one-vehicle accident on I-95 in New Rochelle.
On April, at approximately 11:50 p.m., troopers responded to the accident and found the driver - Erika L. Lahaie, 26, of Norwalk - to be intoxicated.
When the trooper was placing Lahaie in custody, the passenger of the vehicle, Nicole I. Hernandez Nunez, 27, also of Norwalk, attempted to interfere and prevent the arrest of Lahaie, police said. Both women were transported to State Police headquarters in New Rochelle for processing.Lahaie’s blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.27 percent - more than three times the legal limit- and was subsequently charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated.
