COMMERCE CITY, CO : 1 dead, 1 critically injured in Commerce City crash on Saturday, 18th May 2024

A crash at the intersection of U.S. 85 and East 56th Avenue in Commerce City left one man dead and another critically injured Saturday.

A spokesperson for the Commerce City Police Department said the crash happened at around 8:30 a.m. In a social media post, the department said a vehicle with the right-of-way crashed into the back of a second vehicle, which they said "appears to have run a red light at a high rate of speed."
