Omaha, NE : Semi driver is killed in crash near Schuyler on February, Monday 26th 2018

A 53-year-old Thurston, Nebraska, man was killed when he steered the semitrailer he was driving off a rural highway to avoid a farm vehicle, authorities said. The crash occurred Monday about 2 p.m. north of Schuyler.

Henry Sands was passing a tractor that was pulling a feed wagon when the farm vehicle turned left into the path of his semi. Sands veered off the road and his semi landed in Dry Creek, witnesses said.
