Police have released the identity of a woman killed Friday in a crash on a

McKenzie County highway.

Robyn L. Johnson, 51, of Roberts, Idaho, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which took place about 1:20 p.m. on U.S. Highway 85 about four miles west of Arnegard.

Johnson was a passenger in an SUV driven by Allen F. Parkinson, 52, a Highway Patrol report says.

Parkinson was driving east when he lost control of the vehicle, which spun into the westbound lanes, police say.

His vehicle was hit on the passenger side by a westbound SUV driven by Duane P. Lindgren, 64, of Minnesota. The impact spun both vehicles, which came to rest upright on opposite sides of the highway, police say.

Parkinson, Lindgren, and his passenger, Joy Lindgren, 61, were injured and taken to the McKenzie County Hospital.

The highway was covered with snow and ice at the time of the crash, the report says.
