CARLOCK, IL : Bloomington man killed in tractor accident on Tuesday, October 3, 2017

A 65-yeaCVARLOr-old Bloomington man died Tuesday morning after the tractor he was driving rolled over in rural Carlock, pinning him underneath.

Woodford County Coroner Tim Ruestman said Galyn Sweet was pronounced dead at 9:39 a.m. at the accident scene, 441 County Road 2300 E, north of Carlock in Kansas Township.

Ruestman it appears said Sweet was clearing brush in a wooded area with his utility tractor when it rolled down a ravine.

An autopsy is planned for Wednesday.

The accident remains under investigation by the coroner's office and the Woodford County Sheriff's Department. The Carlock Fire Department also responded to the scene.
