SILVER SPRING, MD : 4 hurt in Montgomery County crash with school bus on Monday, 20th May 2024

A crash between an SUV and a Montgomery County school bus has sent four people to the hospital, according to firefighters.

Crews responded to the intersection of Fenton Street and Philadelphia Avenue in Silver Spring for a crash around 7:30 a.m. Monday. No students were on board the bus at the time of the collision, but five adults were checked out at the scene of the crash. Firefighters said four people were taken to the hospital, but their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
