Jacksonville, AL : Man dies in one-vehicle accident in east Alabama Sunday, July 17, 2016

Authorities say a man has been killed in a one-vehicle accident in east Alabama.

Calhoun County Coroner Pat Brown tells Al.com that Kerry Chriswell was pronounced dead at 4:35 a.m. Sunday after the accident on Alabama 204.

The newspapers reports that Chriswell was heading east toward about 3:30 a.m. before the car ran into the road's right shoulder and overturned several times. The car eventually landed in a culvert.

The accident is still under investigation.
