Las Vegas, NV : Motorcyclist injured after a crash with another vehicle in the northeast valley early Wednesday morning, March 2, 2016

A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a crash with another vehicle early this morning in the northeast valley, according to Metro Police.

The crash happened about 5:50 a.m. at North Pecos and East Gowan roads, police said.

The motorcycle was north on Pecos, approaching the intersection with Gowan, when a car attempted to make left turn in front of it, police said. The motorcycle hit the car and overturned, police said.

The rider, Bradford Carrington, 25, of Las Vegas, was thrown from the motorcycle. He was taken to University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, police said.

The 21-year-old driver of the car showed no signs of impairment, police said. The crash remains under investigation.
