Ventura,CA : One hospitalized after rollover crash on PCH on April, sunday 30th 2017

One person was injured in an accident on the Pacific Coast Highway that blocked southbound traffic Sunday afternoon, authorities said.

The crash, which occurred just south of Deer Creek Road, was first reported to the California Highway Patrol at 2:35 p.m.

Fire personnel on scene reported a vehicle had rolled over and another one was on its side. Three people were involved in the crash, but only two were injured, authorities said. A person suffered minor injuries and refused to be taken to a hospital, according to authorities.The other person sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, according to the Ventura County Fire Department.

The CHP provided traffic control until 4:50 p.m. due to the vehicles blocking the southbound lanes of the highway, authorities said.
