Frederick, MD : One person injured after Walkersville crash on Wednesday, March 29, 2017

A driver was flown to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore on Wednesday after crossing into the wrong lane on Md. 194 and striking two other vehicles.

State police responded to the crash around 12:45 p.m., just south of Stauffer Road in Walkersville, said Trooper Matthew Baum. A Hyundai Sonata was traveling south on Md. 194 before crossing into the northbound lanes and hitting a white Chevrolet Silverado.

The Sonata then bounced off the Silverado and crashed head-on into a dump truck traveling north.

Only the driver of the Sonata was taken to the hospital, Baum said. He could not reveal the driver's name, but said the injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
