OCOEE, FL : 5 students hurt in school bus crash in Ocoee on Thursday, March 9th 2017

Five students were taken to the hospital Friday morning after an Orange County school bus was involved in a crash with another vehicle.The crash was reported at about 8:36 a.m. near the intersection of Blackwood Avenue and Old Winter Garden Road in Ocoee.

The bus was headed to Thornebrooke Elementary School, which is a K-5 school. There were a total of 64 students on the bus, a district spokeswoman said.

Injury information hasn't been released.

Ashley Gibson, a public information officer with Orange County Fire Rescue, said crews assessed about 20 patients at the scene.

Orange County Fire Rescue and the Ocoee Police Department are investigating the crash.
