Man hit by car, seriously injured in Apopka Florida

A man is in the hospital after being hit by a car in Apopka.
It happened on Park Avenue around 5:30 p.m. and closed down the road.News 13 was the only station to talk to the driver of the car shortly after the accident.She said the man just walked right in front of her car in the middle of the street.

"It happened so fast. I couldn't even, I was like ‘oh my god.’ I can't even really explain it,” said Natasha Flowers. “It happened in a blink of an eye. I wasn't talking. I wasn't on no phone, because I don't play that. I don't believe in that."
The victim was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.Police don't believe charges will be filed.
