ST. TAMMANY PARISH, LA : Police Pedestrian killed on Twin Span Bridge on Tuesday, 19th December 2023

Louisiana State Police are investigating a fatal crash that left one person dead on Tuesday.

Police say the crash happened around 10:30 a.m. on the Interstate 10 Twin Span Bridge in St. Tammany Parish.

The pedestrian walked into the travel lanes of Interstate 10 westbound from the right shoulder at the same time, a 2015 Freightliner Cascadia was traveling westbound in the right lane of Interstate 10 and was hit, according to police.
