BELCHERTOWN, MA : Motorcycle vs. car crash in Belchertown causes injuries in the area of 335 Ware Road on Friday, 23rd August 2019

A motorcyclist was taken to Baystate Medical Center with serious injuries after a crash involving the motorcycle and a car on Ware Road Friday morning, police said.
The “serious accident” occurred in the area of 335 Ware Road at around 11:15 a.m. and shut down the section of Route 9 until around noon, said Eric Girard, a Belchertown dispatcher.
The motorcyclist did not have any passengers at the time of the crash, and no one in the car was injured.
The crash is under investigation.
