Peoria, AZ : Sunrise Mountain student injured after being struck by car in Maricopa County on Tuesday, March 1, 2016

A 16-year-old girl hit by a car outside Sunrise Mountain High School Tuesday is still in critical condition at Phoenix Children's Hospital Wednesday.

Police have not identified the driver as the investigation is still ongoing. Police do not believe speed was a factor in the collision, which happened in a crosswalk.
