Orlando, FL : 19-year-old Orlando man was killed when his car crash on May, Monday 1st 2017

A 19-year-old Orlando man was killed when his car crashed into a utility pole on Curry Ford Road in southeastern Orange County early Monday, a Florida Highway Patrol spokeswoman said.

Long Nguyen was driving a 2014 Infiniti east about 1:35 a.m. Monday, Sgt. Kim Montes said.

The car veered off the road near Cypress Springs Parkway. It hit the pole and three trees, Montes said.

The force of the crash split the car in two, she said.

Nguyen was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers are still investigating what caused the crash.

No other injuries were reported.
