MANATEE COUNTY, FL : Bicyclist dies in crash on Lorraine Road on Thursday, 28th June 2018

A bicyclist was killed in a crash with an SUV early Thursday, the Florida Highway Patrol reports.

According to the FHP, a Toyota Rav4 driven by Dillon Sypula, 23, of Jacksonville was traveling south on Lorraine Road, north of 59th Avenue East, at about 3:15 a.m. when it collided with the rear of a bicycle ridden by Nicholas Wilson, 34, of Bradenton that was traveling in the same direction. There were skid marks and debris in the roadway.
