TAUNTON, MA : Teen trapped in bizarre car wash crash in Route 44 on Sunday, 29th December, 2019

Nicole Teles says Sunday afternoon’s freak crash at the Route 44 car wash where she works could have been worse, much worse.

“I told them that you guys both have angels with you,” she said, referring to a boyfriend and girlfriend she said could have been killed or seriously injured.

As it turns out, according to police, neither of them sustained injuries — despite the fact that an out of control pickup truck had crushed their 2013 Ford Focus sedan.

The teenage girl, cops said, was in the car when the backwards-driven pickup truck entered a manual-washing bay and mounted the Focus.
