A 3 year-old was ejected from an SUV in a wreck in the northbound lanes of Interstate 85 Friday morning.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, a Lincoln Navigator carrying seven passengers struck the center median wall. The child was ejected and landed in emergency lane on the southbound side on I-85, troopers said.
The child was transported to Children's at Egleston Pediatric Hospital with serious injuries, according to a news release. No one else in the SUV was injured.
The single-vehicle wreck temporarily closed two lanes on both the southbound and northbound side of the interstate.
