Goodlettsville ,TN : Car crashes into Goodlettsville jewelry business on Friday Morning ,July 3rd 2015

A jewelry store in Goodlettsville is cleaning up a big mess after a car crashed into their building.

The owner of Hancock Premier Jewelers said the driver was leaving the parking lot when his accelerator got stuck.

He swerved to avoid going into traffic on the road and ended up crashing into the business around 8 a.m. Friday.

The driver, as well as the people inside the building, were not hurt.

"It could have been much worse,” said Ashley Hancock, owner of Hancock Premier Jewelers. “Right behind my shoulder is where my husband, John Hancock, would have been standing to polish jewelry, so we're very thankful he wasn't there at the time."
