St. Paul , MN : Two children were injured in a car crash caused by Brooklyn Park man pleads guilty on Thursday ,November 20th 2014

A Brooklyn Park man has pleaded guilty in a car crash that severely injured his two children. St. Paul Pioneer Press reports (http://bit.ly/1vvkeDD ) 46-year-old Earl Ward pleaded guilty Thursday to two counts of criminal vehicular operation and violating a no-contact order with the children's mother. His plea didn't come with a deal for sentencing. Ward admitted he crashed a car when he apparently hit a pothole in St. Paul in July. His 14-year-old daughter sustained a spinal fracture that left her a quadriplegic. His 8-year-old son suffered a broken femur. The children's mother called police.
