Harford County, MD : Two Anne Arundel County men died in a fatal ATV crash on Thursday December 31 2015.

Two Anne Arundel County men died in a fatal early morning ATV crash in Pylesville that happened less than an hour into the new year, the Harford County Sheriff's Office reported.
Timothy Gene Phillips, of Pasadena, and William Norman Womble, of Glen Burnie, both 37 years old, were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which was reported at about 12:57 a.m. Friday in the 2100 block of Telegraph Road, near Eden Mill Road, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Both drivers sustained life-threatening injuries while riding ATVs together north on Telegraph Road, the Sheriff's Office reported. The men were riding the ATVs one in front of the other, Phillips in front of Womble, according to an accident report from the sheriff's office. Womble, on the trailing ATV, hit the front one from behind; both drivers were ejected. The two ATVs were stuck together from the crash and came to rest on top of Phillips.
Womble and Phillips suffered fatal injuries, according to the accident report.
Investigating deputies listed Womble at fault in the crash for following the other ATV too closely, according to the accident report.
Both men knew each other and had been celebrating the New Year's holiday at a residence close to the scene of the crash," the Sheriff's Office reported.
