Sierra Vista,AZ : Alcohol may have been factor in fatal motorcycle collision on August, Sunday 13th 2017

While traffic fatalities involving drivers under the influence of alcohol have declined in the U.S. in recent decades, they still accounted for nearly a third of all traffic deaths in 2014.

Nationwide, there is one alcohol-impaired-driving fatality every 53 minutes, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. This national statistic hit home recently when the Sierra Vista Police Department received an autopsy report from a July fatality, which showed that the driver had a blood alcohol level of nearly twice the legal limit.
