Altamonte Springs, FL : 8-year-old girl was critical condition after crash with pickup truck on Wednesday October 8th 2014.

An 8-year-old girl was taken to a nearby hospital Wednesday night after a crash with a pickup truck, according to the Altamonte Springs Police Department. The child was walking her dog with her father at a crosswalk near Bunnell Road and West Town Parkway. Police said the child stepped into traffic and a Ford pickup hit her around 9 p.m. The girl was taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital with critical injuries.
