Dane County, WI : 51-year-old Marshall woman died in a rollover crash on Ridge Road just north of Connors Road in the Town of Medina on Tuesday, Oct 6, 2015

A 51-year-old Marshall woman died Tuesday in a rollover crash in Dane County, the sheriff's office said.

The crash was reported shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Ridge Road just north of Connors Road in the Town of Medina, according to a news release from the Dane County sheriff's office.

According to the release, the woman was northbound on Ridge Road when the car she was driving crossed into the southbound lane, left the roadway and rolled over several times into a cornfield.

The woman was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

She was not wearing a seat belt and both air bags in the vehicle deployed, according to the release.

The crash remained under investigation.
