WEBB, NY : Driver in critical condition following town of Webb crash on Route 28 on Saturday, 22nd December 2018

One of two drivers was listed in critical condition Saturday following a head-on car accident on Route 28, state police said.

At about 10:30 a.m., 29-year-old Jessie E. Dresch was traveling southwest on State Route 28 when for an unknown reason she crossed over the double solid-yellow line into the eastbound lane and crashed into a vehicle being driven by Ryan M. Gaffney, 37, police said.

Dresch was transported to the St. Elizabeth Campus of the Mohawk Valley Health System with internal and head injuries and was listed in critical condition, police said.

Gaffney and two passengers, ages 28 and 3, were transported to St. Elizabeth injuries that weren’t life-threatening, officials said.

The investigation is continuing, police said.
