Police Thursday identified the drivers involved in a rollover crash in Niskayuna that sent one driver to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash happened just after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Route 7 and Balltown Road.
A Jeep, driven by Devin Farley, 19, was headed east on Route 7 when it ran a red light and crashed into a vehicle driven by Robert Drost, 73, Niskayuna Deputy Police Chief Michael Stevens said.
Farley's Jeep flipped onto its side. Farley was trapped temporarily, before being freed by responding firefighters, Stevens said. A passenger of Farley's suffered minor injuries. Drost, whose vehicle remained upright, was uninjured.
Farley was expected to be cited for running the red light, Stevens said.
