MADISON, MS : A crash on I-55 southbound in Madison County on Saturday, August 5, 2017

A crash on I-55 southbound in Madison County is now clear, according to MDOT.

According to Corporal Eric Henry with the Mississippi Highway Patrol, the driver was traveling south on I-55 when he had an apparent medical issue that caused him to pass out. He ran off the road and overturned.

He was not injured in the crash.

Both southbound lanes were blocked and traffic was diverted to exit 112, but that is cleared now.
