Crittenden County, AR : 69-year-old Arkansas man driving the wrong way on I-40 dies in crash on Monday, 9th July 2018

A 69-year-old Arkansas man driving the wrong way on Interstate 40 was killed in a crash Monday morning, authorities said.

The wreck occurred shortly after 6:15 a.m. near the Crittenden County community of LeHi.

Charley Warren of Hughes was traveling east in the interstate's westbound lanes when his Chevrolet Impala hit a cable barrier and then a concrete barrier, a preliminary report states. The car then traveled off the road and ended up in a ditch.
