A person suffered minor injuries during a multi-vehicle accident in Charleston Wednesday evening, a spokesman for the FDNY said.

The incident happened at approximately 7:10 p.m. at the intersection of Arthur Kill Road and Veterans Road East, the spokesman said.

The injured person was transported to Staten Island University Hospital South, the spokesman said.

Radio transmission said the accident involved a motorcycle and car, though the FDNY could not confirm these reports.

On Saturday, a man riding a motorcycle was killed in Sunnyside in a collision with a car.
