ROY, UT : 1 lane reopened on northbound I-15 in Roy after crash on Friday, 5th July 2019

All lanes have reopened on northbound I-15 after they were briefly shut down due to a crash in Roy.

One person was taken to a hospital in critical condition after the crash, officials said.

The crash took place at 9:52 a.m. on I-15 near 5600 South in Roy, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.

A passenger car that was heading north went off the right side of the road and struck a concrete barrier, according to UHP. The car bounced off the wall and back into a traffic lane, where a pickup truck that was hauling a fifth-wheel trailer crashed into it, UHP said.
