Fayette, MS : 30-year-old Robert Nix dead after collision with 18-wheeler on Wednesday December 9 2015

On Wednesday, just before 2:30 pm, troopers responded to an accident on Highway 61 at the intersection of Highway 553 in Jefferson County.
A 2005 Honda passenger car, driven by 30-year-old Robert Nix from Fayette,Fa attempted to cross the highway, but collided with an 18-wheeler driven by 62-year-old Charles Wilson from Bentonia.
Nix was pronounced dead on the scene.
