Huntsville,AL : Huntsville man dies in Hammondville wreck on may, sunday 14th 2017

A Huntsville man was killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday in Hammondville.

Billy Ray Stanfill, 77, was killed when he lost control of the 2009 Harley Davidson he was operating and overturned. He was taken to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.
Stanfill was ejected, according to a news release from Alabama State Troopers. The crash occurred at about 12:50 p.m. on Alabama 117 at the 10 mile marker inside the Hammondville city limits.
Troopers continue to investigate the crash.
