Houston ,TX : One Person inside Vehicle Killed after 18-wheeler truck crashed into a passenger car along I- 10 on Monday evening ,April 27 2015

All westbound lanes of Interstate 10 near Campbell were closed for nearly five hours after a fatal crash, authorities said late Monday.

According to initial reports, an 18-wheeler truck crashed into a passenger car at about 7 p.m., closing part of the Katy Freeway. Lanes reopened at about 11:44 p.m.

The car burst into flames. At least one person inside the vehicle died, authorities said.

The fatal crash remains under investigation. Further information was not immediately available.
