DeLand, FL : Fatal crash in the westbound lanes near DeLand on Wednesday, 22nd January, 2020

A FedEx driver who was standing outside his truck along Interstate 4 was killed Wednesday morning when a pickup truck driver drifted toward him and hit him and his vehicle, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Andre Haber, 52, of Palm Bay died after the 4:15 a.m. crash in the westbound lanes near DeLand.
The driver of the 2007 Dodge pickup, Travis Hutto, 21 of Deltona, drifted into the emergency lane “for unknown reasons," the FHP said.
Haber was thrown under the FedEx truck and pronounced dead at the scene, the FHP aid.
The crash happened near mile marker 120, just north of the State Road 44 exit.
Charges were pending against Hutto.
